Want to get your school involved with Miles for Music?
Miles for Music encourages students to become active while raising much needed money to help fund quality music education in our local schools.
Contributions to participating schools’ music education programs will be based on the number of 1 Miler & 5K registrants on each school’s team, so the more teachers, students, and parents registered for race day – the greater the contribution back to your school.
Once a school/team is registered on our site (we’ll need 24 hours to complete a registration request) – simply choose your school/team name from the list on the registration page – and you’ve officially joined that team.
Any school that wants to participate in a Miles for Music event is invited to sign up. Just be sure to note which event you’re interested in participating. Once your school is registered (you’ll ultimately need a minimum of 10 participants to be eligible to receive funds), you can promote the race and enlist teachers, parents, students and interested community members to join the fun and raise money for your school.

If you don’t see your school listed…speak with your school’s teacher about getting your school registered soon – remember to refer them to the TEACHERS INFO page for your event.
If your school decides not to register, no worries, you can still join in the fun on race day and participate in the event, but your school won’t be eligible to receive funds.
*Distributions to participating schools will take place 4 weeks after the Miles for Music event.
